Aquarius

Aquarius wants a friend it also happens to love, and finds performed romance faintly embarrassing. It is loyal, unpossessive and surprisingly hard to reach — warm at every distance except the closest one. The partner who does not read a need for space as a rejection will find something rare here: a person who genuinely wants you to be more yourself, not less.

Friendship is where Aquarius is most fluent — the wide, unlikely, cross-generational circle held together by shared ideas rather than proximity. It is the sign that defends the person everyone else has written off. The blind spot is the individual in front of it: excellent on humanity, occasionally distracted about the friend in the room.

Technology, science, activism, research, anything at the edge where the accepted answer is being questioned. Aquarius does its worst work under close supervision and its best when handed a problem and left alone. It is usually right early, which is professionally inconvenient — the recognition tends to arrive several years after the idea.

Aquarius rules the ankles and the circulation — the body’s outer reaches, and the first places to complain. Cold hands and feet, restless legs and erratic energy are the signature. This is the sign most likely to live entirely in its head and forget it has a body until the body insists; regular, unexciting movement is what keeps it well.

The path is from outsider to builder. Aquarius spends its early life certain it does not belong, and is usually right. What it does with that is the whole question: it can become a permanent critic from the edge, or the person who builds the thing that was missing. The second one is what the sign is for.
