Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ORION (“the app”) collects about you, why, and what your rights are. The data controller is ORION.

What we collect

  • The first and last name you enter.
  • Date of birth, and if provided, time and city of birth.
  • Gender and preferred interface language.
  • Email address and basic profile details from your Google account, if you sign in with it.
  • The content of messages you send to the AI astrologer.
  • In guest mode: everything you enter is stored only in your own browser and is never sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data erases it permanently.

Note: date, time and place of birth are personal data. Time and city of birth are optional — without them some calculations are unavailable.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to calculate your astrological and numerological chart, generate personalised readings, and let you sign in. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Third parties we share with

We rely on the following providers to run the service. Note the last one in particular: your birth details are sent to an external AI service in order to generate your reading.

  • Supabase — Database hosting and authentication (EU (eu-west-1))
  • Vercel — Website hosting (Global CDN)
  • Google — Google account sign-in (Global)
  • OpenAI — Generating readings and AI chat responses (USA)

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, readings and chat history. To request deletion: shirasarid@gmail.com

Your rights

Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 you may review the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if inaccurate, and ask us to delete it. If you are in the EU, GDPR rights also apply, including data portability and objection to processing. Contact: shirasarid@gmail.com

Cookies and local storage

The app does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We store your sign-in token, interface language and guest identifier in your browser; these are required for the service to work.

Minors

The service is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that we collected data about a child under that age without parental consent, we will delete it.
